Course Overview
This course covers all aspects of progressive die design including sheetmetal part unfolding, strip development, catalog part generation, die set development, and the development of punch and die-hollow geometries.
Prerequisites
- Students must have previously taken the VISI Modeling class
- 80 hours of experience working with the VISI Modeling system
- Possess a working knowledge of design and manufacture of progressive, transfer, deep draw, and single station dies
