Course Overview
This course covers all aspects of the VISI Mold module. This includes the development of parting lines and parting and slide surfaces. Also covered are plate set development, electrode model development for sinker and orbital electrode manufacturing, mold cavity analysis tools, wizards for slide development, water line development, and ejector pin modeling.
Prerequisite
- Students must have previously taken the VISI Modeling class
- 80 hours of experience working with the VISI Modeling system
- Possess a working knowledge of the design and manufacture of plastic injection molds, blow molds, compression molds, and die cast dies.
