Part Design (ReDesign) Services

Compass part design/redesign services have their greatest value after a product has been strategically designed for its application. We expand a part's design for issues in manufacturability cost of production, and improved quality.

Our goals for manufacturability can include:

• Lower tooling costs,
• Lower manufacturing costs
• Higher deliverable part quality

Our goals for part application performance can include:

• Greater structural or dynamic integrity,
• The ability to sustain a given fatigue life without failure
• The ability to survive a drop test
• Part analysis integrity where the analysis includes consideration for properties resultant of the manufacturing process itself (For example, thinning and work hardening as by-products of the sheetmetal forming process.)
