The Modules of the System
- VISI-Modeling - 3D hybrid solid/surface modeling switches automatically and effortlessly from solids to surfaces and back again for maximum productivity.
- VISI-Mold - Analyzes and fixes draft issues; develops core/cavity splits; generates plates sets from DME-Hasco-etc catalogues; inserts slides, locks, water lines, runners, and other necessary geometries.
- VISI-Electrode - Develops the geometry for electrodes and their holders; and prints setup instructions.
- VISI-Machining - Four other major CAM software developers use the VISI machining kernal. It supports development of 2D, 2.5D, 3D, 4-Axis, 5-Axis (positional & simultaneous), tool paths.
- Compass Technology (Automatic Feature-based Prismatic Machining) automatically creates NC programs from VISI-Mold designs - in SECONDS not minutes or hours.
- VISI-Flow - Because it is integrated with the mold design module, you can ensure your design stays on track to produce quality parts at your predicted cycle time. Use VISI-Flow to analyze the fill & hold cycle;shrink & warp, and cooling. Use it for hot and cold runner systems.
