The Forming Suite is an integrated set of modules running under a common user interface. The following is a list of the individual modules making up the Forming Suite. Click on the module buttons to download individual brochures. |

Fastblank reads in 3D CAD data of drawn sheetmetal parts and unfolds them to a flat blank. It also creates color plots on the part showing thinning. |
Blankworks is a special configuration of Fastform that runs under the covers of Solidworks. The functions of the product become pull-downs within the Solidworks environment. |
Fastform includes all the functionality of Fastform but adds the additional inputs of Blankholder force, drawbeads, and pressure pads, Additional outputs include Safety zone plot, forming zone plot, and major and minor axis strain. |
Fastform Advanced upgrades Fastform with inputs for user defined blanks including tailor welded blanks, curved binders, and addendums. Additional outputs include forming limit diagrams, wrinkle displacement, springback shape and displacement, edge movement, and feature line mapping. |
The Blanknest product receives blanks developed by Fastblank and develops a nest of parts on a sheetmetal coil using a minimum of material. Constraints include one or two parts, same or different, gaps between parts and edges, rotation restrictions for grain, addendums, and more. |
The ProgNest module performs the same function of determining a material specification but for progressive die jobs. Various carrier configurations can be specified and edge movement analyses highlite potential problems. |
The Cost Optimizer module is used to analyze a coil nesting solution to determin if additional material savings could be attained by altering the nest and understanding the resultant effect of the change on the original part. |
Multi-Stage Forming Analysis accepts the input of user supplied form station geometry and performs a forming analysis for the process using fast one-step methods. |
Fast-Incremental Forming Analysis uses the LS-Dyna explicit incremental solver from LSCT. Accuracy is significantly improved using this technology at the expense of time. Typically 200 to 400 time increments are considered in the forming analysis solution. |
