The only way to make a serious dent on this problem is total automation of the design and build processes. That's what VISI-Progress is about. Use VISI-Series design modules to automate your design process or VISI-Series manufacturing modules to automate your manufacturing processes, or both.
- The system uses part models read directly from customer files (including CATIA, Pro/E, and Unigraphics) - usually no remodeling is necessary.
- VISI-Blank and VISI-Progress provide powerful step-by-step unfolding of striaght-bend as well as drawn metal parts for developing strip models,
- The VISI-Strip module makes quick work of strip development. The system uses a Windows Explorer-like Strip Manager to easily move punches and strip models from station to station for automatically regeneration of the strip.
- The VISI-Die module automatically generates 3D punchs and hollows (holes in the punch retainer plates, strippers, die plates, shoes, etc) and also generates guide clearences and heels.
- The VISI Catalogue/Library module uses catalogues from major die suppliers (Danly, Lempco, Superior, Dayton, etc) for inserting standard components (guide pins, bushings, punches pilots, buttons, springs, nitro cylinders, cap screws, etc.) in designs. And the catalogues are maintained by Vero
- VISI-Machining 2D with MFR (Manufacturing Feature Recognition) lets users generate entire NC programs for hole machining within seconds. And using user-defined manufacturing standards it supports either milling or drilling first.
